looks like the tiguan should be coming back according to a dealer posting on the FB group.
I believe that the PHEV version isn’t released in the U.K. yet, so if true it would have to be a conventional petrol and (possibly) diesel, but given Motabiltys direction of travel I’d think that was unlikely. I like the look of the new Tiguan, but the fact that leather is a £2k option (and there’s no cheaper faux leather option) is most likely going to rule it out for us, unless the AP is so cheap that adding the £2k option still makes it reasonable. Can’t see that happening though with APs having risen so much.
