Swings and roundabouts but, suggest you go with what suits your needs best.
Tethered chargers are more conveient, as the cable is always onsite ready to be plugged in but, requires the cable to be wound up on the side of the house like a hosepipe.
Untrthered look neater when the car isn’t charging but requires both ends of the cable to be plugged in when you charge. Not all untethered chargers lock the cable in the unit when charging. Ohme E-Pod is one of them.
That said I would go untethered as the charger would be at the front side of my house.
