Hopefully the end of the month will have us charging at home.

Efficiency is always a tricky thing to get right with a new car.  Getting the right level of eco and regen combined for each type of journey.   I had to go up to Exeter the other night (100 miles each way) and managed 2.9 at a steady 70 where I could, coming back was through heavy rain and winds and it dropped to 2.2 at 65.  The groups have some interesting ideas about getting the best range without ruining the journey.  I’ll see what I get but nearly 3mpkwh isn’t bad for February.

I charged from 20% to full at a rapid on Wednesday and was done in less time than the MG charges to 80% of a much smaller battery.  I can literally boost the range by a hundred miles or more in the time for the family pee stop at the services.
