Tesla’s do nothing for me either, but isn’t their USP quicker charging times, which partially helps overcome a major barrier / irritant to EV ownership for many? I’m not sure I understood your ICE comparison though. My ICE car takes 5 minutes to refuel to get me a 600 mile range. I don’t think that even Tesla’s are that quick! We are overseas at present and the other day I saw a BYD SUV that looked quite smart. It might be a US model thats not in the UK, or not destined for the UK, but it looked a decent size.

Hyundai/Kia , Porsche and Tesla have around the same charge time “if” you can find/get to one of their superfast chargers.
