I was mainly put off by the awful attitude in the ŠKODA dealership. I completely understand that other ŠKODA dealers are probably great but Audi made me feel normal and ŠKODA I felt like an unwelcome intrusion. And I don’t want to drive miles to a different town for servicing just because they’re not nice locally. Perhaps unusually in my household it’s me ( the wife) who has always been car obsessed and my husband doesn’t care as long as he fits in it and can see out ( he’s 6ft7). But I could not get the ŠKODA salesman to address me or answer my questions he kept redirecting to my husband. This is MY car. It’s MY lifeline and I don’t think the physically able always get that.
@kj35 sorry to hear that, sounds like that dealer needs some training! We encountered something similar a few years ago and swapped to using a dealer in a market town who are excellent. Its about 45 mins drive away but worth it, we make a day out of it and go for lunch in the town.
