The workshop only had Vauxhall Corsas as courtesy cars. Directline hired the 4yr old car from a hire company,so that will be costing them.
I can’t off the top of my head remember how much my hire car cost for 2 weeks in 2019 remembering it had a hoist in the back so not just a normal hire car but if memory serves me right it was something like £240 a day X 14 days = £3,360 plus a delivery and collection charge for delivering from London to Bristol but can’t remember how much that was now but yes someone gets a big bill for these accidents, though I do think that the insurance and repairers takes advantage with inflated bills.
Just to add that cost did not include the cost of fixing my MB car.
