I’ve always had hardwired front and rear Nextbase dashcams, both to my company & Motability cars. Never had an issue with Motability after handing the car back or at car change overs. Currently use the Nextbase 622GW – really good resolution, just make sure you get a decent sized micro SD card (minimum 128 GB) otherwise you will continuously overwrite your recordings. This is a card I recommend, have used SandDisk media for years with digital cameras:
