    That sounds like a lot of tosh. Never heard of that happening on a Motability car.

    When I handed my car back the lass went out an done the checks on the car an said its good for the GCB.  Then she asked me if the car had a spare or the gunk can, I replied I had not  looked and dont know, so she marked it as having a spare.

     

    If you follow your logic through, given your statement that the dealer can reject the car, that means the handover is stopped, the Motability customer has to go away in their old car and the dealer is left with a car registered to a customer that is denied the new car. It is now a second hand vehicle. What are the dealer or Motability going to do with that??
