It sometimes happens where they estimate that the residual value after 3 years of the higher specced or bigger engine vehicle will exceed that of the lower specced model – ie they can sell the higher specced model for much more than the lower spec or lower powered engine etc.
Calculated back, this results in the same or occasionally lower AP’s for higher specced or bigger engine models. It is all about the residual value.
