I love my QQ ePower. I’m lucky to live in a town with a Costco. Being self employed, I can enjoy the cheaper fuel. I’ve had my QQ since mid April, so it’ll be 1 this April. My current computer MPG is 44.6, with more use of the heating systems in winter. I meant to reset it back to zero on 1st of January, but forgot to. I’ll do that tomorrow. It’s much better on MPG in the warmer Spring, Summer and Autumn months. I enjoy the many different driving modes, and the instant power, out of junctions. I’ve had no problems with it so far. It’s just a lovely relaxing and effortless drive.

Each to his own, of course , and thank you Motability, for providing a considerable number and variety of motor cars for us to choose from !

There are plusses and minuses to every car , but I agree, with your sentiment , and that the Qashqai is a really good Plus’ car, with reasonable economy, with almost silent running ( most of the time), extremely nippy ( especially accelerating away from traffic lights etc).

I have said before, “ if anyone is going to compare fuel consumption with that of a plug-in Ev then there will be disappointment,” but it drives better than most, if not all electric/ Ice hybrids and pure ice cars – fuel consumption is only part of the story !

We are all recording similar mpg figures, mine from ‘ driving without concern for mpg ( and getting 50-55 mpg mostly) – 47.7 overall, over 12 months and it is costing less to run than my previous car- Tiguan 2 lite Deisel, and that is good !

An important point to remember is, ‘ that range anxiety ‘ is not the issue it clearly is with a lot of EV’s
