Anyway .. couple of phone calls to Northern Powergrid explaining their email said they would be doing the work today and no mention of a survey later ……. Very nice young lady looked on their system and Clancy Docwra hadn’t marked it as urgent after all!, she then went off and phoned me back about 15mins later.. Got an appointment next Wednesday!, day after the charger is being installed???, OK leave it with me, will ring you back. 15mins later she rang and they’re coming out ………. Friday afternoon 12-5pm, right when I’m out collecting the car
So, they’re going to ring me about an hour before they get here, she’s told them I may be out until about 1pm but my neighbour has a key if they need access for any reason. Hopefully it all goes to plan!
