Not quite right. Morability rules are that the price should not change once a contract has been agreed. If a dealer wants to reduce that price, they can, if they want to increase the price (in certain circumstances, change of model etc) they can, but not if the contract doesn’t change. https://www.motability.co.uk/how-it-works/payments/
Why should any Motability customer pay £400 more for the same car? This is just profiteering, all dealers should offer this refund as part of their standard Motability service ( as confirmed by other posts in this thread).
Vote with your feet (if you’re happy to wait longer for the same car) and save £400.??
