That’s not a good situation to be but I’m glad your Dad got through the procedure well. My current car is a 2021 Peugeot 3008 228bhp GT Premium hybrid with a ‘Focal Hifi’. It has ten speakers including an 8″ triple coil subwoofer. (I believe that each coil pushes out 50 watts x 3). There is an active 12 way amplifier and I believe the whole system pushes out approx 700 watts. This won the prestigious award for the best car audio system at the Zurich car show in about 2019, so it must have been pretty decent. When I took a dive into the equaliser and associated screens there was a whole load of tweaking that a better man than me could do, lol.
