This whole contact a dealer and wait for ages is awfully slow and time consuming.
It’s 2024, Im not sure why BMW can’t create portals for new car sales where you can log in and amend your order and trim yourself and also check your build slot status/estimates. The current method seems like such an outdated process & tiresome for both customer and dealer. I’m sure there is major room for innovation in this area. It would benefit both the buyer (by giving them more control) and the reps (by sparing them more time) and does not require any new technologies – also we are less likely to make mistakes when ordering our own trims lol. Just a thought anyway
