The JCW was one of them! TBH I don’t know whether to leave the scheme again or what. Mota’s love affair with 1.2 and 1.5 3 pots is disheartening. I only hope they put some decent 2l on, 3l would be nice but, thats pushing it, however I just can’t see it anymore. Then there their new love affair of BEV’s and their illusion of 2030 for petrol & diesel! So if you want a bit of poke, there are 5 out of 800 odd cars on the scheme with sub 6s and break the 300bhp barrier 2 PHEV’s and 3 BEV’s. True drivers cars they propabably aren’t!
Yes, I had the JCW in mind when thinking of petrol cars with a bit of poke that were too small for many with disabilities. I agree with what you say about true drivers cars. I’ve got the Maxda CX-60 on my list, but being a PHEV it’s very heavy and that will affect the handling compared to the lighter ICE equivalent (which I would prefer, but isn’t on the scheme).
