would i buy an electric car simply because its “better for the environment” no i wouldnt.
it will have to suit my needs.
1. as i have a 20 mile return commute for work each day and i cant have a home charger and thats not going to change any time soon i need a range of at least 200 miles so i dont have to charge more than once a week.
2. ideally i need someone to have a rapid charger within 5 miles of me, currently there are none and only 6 ordinary chargers.
3. the car has to have a high seating position for me to get in/out.currently have the juke so need similar for less than £1500 ap wpms.not many of these about.
on the current list theres about 3 cars that suit that i can afford.
do i think everyone switching to electric cars will save the planet,no i dont.
