A few years ago my Son ran into the back of a white van who had pulled out of an airfield (flying his model planes) and then immediately stopped on a major road to programme his Sat Nav. Why didn’t he do this at the airfield? The van driver never could answer that question. My Son spent a long time recovering from the van drivers lack of thought/planning.
Before anyone sets off on a journey, connect your phone (cable or Bluetooth), set your sat nav (if required), then pay attention to the road and drive accordingly (not the radio/phone/music). It’s really not difficult. I’m trying to not come across as too preachy, and failing.
Drivers taking responsibility for their actions should make the roads safer…
