Hopefully you’ve learned your lesson. If you take the 6 points penalty and are still under 12 points, then you are fine.
However, anyone using a phone whilst driving deserves 6 points minimum.
Also, I’ve had dash cams (front & rear) for many years. They do make you a better driver, and you can always send footage of dangerous / illegal driving to the Police – they are happy to prosecute.
