Wasn’t there a few early EVs that had a launch control thingy which made a fast car a faster car from a standing start? I think they were scrapped after a few accidents.
Launch control isn’t just restricted to EVs. My petrol BMW has it also. I only used it once to try it, but it’s a bit pointless unless you are racing on a track which, of course, we can’t do! The car is plenty quick enough without it!
