I went to my dealer Hyundai Parks of East Kilbride, yesterday to try out a new steering wheel lock in the Ioniq 6, unfortunately the rep I ordered the car from was off, but I asked another rep what sort of power charge would the car come with.
He looked it up and said that I was being charged £50 which was on my invoice, he also said that the £50 would get about 80% – 100% charge it just depends on the day how long they charge it for. He also claims that it is the law that every dealer must charge. When I pointed out that was clearly not the case as others were not being charged, I got a dumb look back. It begs the question do dealer have to be able to lie at the interview to land the job, or do they get sent on a course on how to lie after they get the job.
On my return I checked the email and on the second page, in fact the only thing on the second page is a cost of £50 for fuel, but not on the total of what I still have to pay. I did explain that I was not happy as this was never discussed when ordering the car and I was on several Motability forums and it would not look appealing to other Motability customers. He responded that he could not comment as I was not his customer.
