Hi Clare, I am a bit confused about your problem and you having to move house (yet again ?), as you told us on the 18th November 2023, that you had just moved house, which had put you in a thousand pound debt.
Are you not happy there and need to move again, I think as you are moving apparently soon, you may be better asking our opinion once you have moved (yet again) and are able to describe your then situation, which will have hopefully improved your ability to get in a charger, if you then so wish to go for an electric car.
As you have paid the £250 early termination, you are free to order anytime and if you have not ordered by February (as your current contract runs out in May) you may be able to get your £250 early termination payment back.
