After been with motability for over 10 years my next car is going to be electric and road tax free , so my question is can I use my free road tax on my own personal motorhome ?
Yes. You would need to inform Motability that you wish to pay the tax on the Motability vehicle. Although an EV has a zero rate ta, yoi still need to be registered a liable to road tax (VED) on the Motability vehicle, this then allows you to claim free disabled tax on your private vehicle.
