I had my car in for repair yesterday as well. The courtesy car was a manual and a banger.
I DID stall, and it wouldnt start and the starter didnt disengage, meaning once It took my finger off the start button, it kept turning the engine over for a few seconds. People behind me were annyed, but after 4 cycles, it did eventually start again. The powerfold drivers mirror didnt. It tried to open and got stuck.
But yup, always the same, am in bits after using a manual courtesy car. Everything is in a different position, my ribs, arm, legs and back are pushed out of alignment.It usually takes a few days to get pain free after that.I’ve never had an auto courtesy car…ever.
