Thats the point I’m at John ? Just wish the i6 had the option of 18″ wheels in the UK for the extra range. However its still joint first on my shortlist.
I was astounded when I saw the huge improvement to range that changing the wider 20″ wheels for the slimmer 18″ wheels makes. The drag coefficient quoted by Hyundai of 0.21 is only achievable on 18″ wheels evidently. The Ioniq 6 fitted with the standard 20″ wheels increases the drag coefficient to 0.27, causing the big range disparity between the two sets of wheels!
The standard 20″ wheels do really enhance an already stunning look though in my opinion.
