We have just collected a new S Cross Motion AGS Hybrid. Having driven CVT/DSG and traditional torque converter autos, I’d rate the AGS as “OK” If you want to drive quickly everywhere, then the CVT or AGS won’t suit you. If however you’re a moderate driver, both will do the job. As someone else suggested, Matt Watson is very much in the faster driving camp and I agree that it’s better if you try one and make your own mind up.
