I’ve tried placing an order for a GTD but no VW dealers are willing to take my order as apparently its a 2 yr wait, can somebody validate this on here pls?
I went to my two nearest VW dealerships here in Kent and they wouldn’t consider it. Said that it may be available technically but that if they made the order, Motability would likely reject it. Even if they did agree, it’d take a long time, too long and too much effort for the salesperson to make their money. So they’re unwilling.
I had to sell my 7.5 GTD (18 plate) end of 2019 due to stopping work but I’d give my full allowance to MB for that car back, even 5 years on. Great car.
Maybe keep an eye on GTD stock and see if any MB dealerships get any in. Cupboard is bare right now though so not likely.
