One of the reasons I believe Motability is/will be pushing EV’s, is down to the government still having the ZEV mandate in place (starting next year), even though the date has been pushed back to 2025.
Pushing the date back to 2035 is looking like there is going to be an impact on manufacturers as its likely to delay retail customers making the switch. With that in mind, in comes Motability. who will be more than willing to except BEV’s, probably at a better price than they might have otherwise done if the ban wasn’t delayed. Give it a year or two the scheme will be full of BEV’s and if your lucky there might be some nice ones to! Those who don’t want to go BEV will see their choces dwindle over the next couple of years.
