It’s a monitored alarm that’s wired into the phone socket, if the alarm triggers it rings the control room and they can listen in. If we go voip which I’m hearing adverts for on the radio saying is happening, the system won’t work. I’m assuming voip is happening when we get fibre?
Ive just checked Openreach and it says fibre is planned between now and December 2026.
