Hi

Thanks for your replies to this thread. I was asking this because I was frightened the tailgate would open automatically while going through an automated car wash, with the brushes going under the bumper and triggering the tailgate to open or touch the pad on the tailgate itself and it might come open that way. Does anyone know if one can disable the electric tailgate? or does locking the doors from inside the car stop the auto tailgate opening?
