I have to drive to Heathrow from Malvern tonight. There are three different routes I can take. The shortest is 109 x 2 miles and the longest is 131 x 2 miles (there and back). I shall take the longest route via the M5 and M40 because it allows me to use the semi autonomous driving function so that my car will virtually drive itself for 110 x 2 (there and back) miles of the journey, with just a light touch on the steering wheel from me.
That is important to me because spending approximately 5 hours in the car these days is only made possible for me by the amazing technology that is now available. That’s why I said earlier in this thread that features and equipment were more important to me than a famous badge.
I shall still take a warm blanket and pillow in case I need to break my journey, lol.
