“Except the Enyaq’s on the scheme can’t get from 0-60 in 6.2s” I’m sorry but who cares?, if you’re buying a car for fast acceleration then looking at the Enyaq probably isn’t the best place to be looking. It’s designed for comfort and practicality, yes being electric it’s faster 0-60 than most petrol or diesel SUV equivalents, my current Ateca 1.5TSI 0-60 is 8.2secs, do I notice? no as I’ve never found the need to floor it up to 60 from a standing start, simply no need to do it. Everyone’s reasons for their choice of car are different, if someone wants a car that’s maybe 1/2 a second faster from 0-60 then there’s probably somehing else somewhere else, go buy it and be happy.
I care as I don’t want something that takes 8.2s to get from 0-60. I was correcting the fact that someone was claiming the Enyaq went from 0-60 in 6.2s when the one’s that we get on the scheme don’t. Even if they did I’m still not sure I would want one as the Enyaq appears to be becoming the new Tiguan.
