My Application is lodged with Motability but Skoda haven’t yet placed the order. The dealer has now confirmed that the 31st October is the day the order books open for the new model. That’s the day my order will be placed. Skoda don’t know if the 85 will be on the scheme. Motability have said that model changes can happen and they accommodate them. Customers affected in the changeover get the new model. If I dint however want to proceed, I could just cancel the order. Motability don’t make a decision to offer the model, Skoda will make that decision. I spoke about the references being different but they said that they take a pragmatic view and if the manufacturer is happy to accommodate it, they are happy to let the order transition to the new model year.
So, order and hope for the best, and either be delighted or not depending on what Skoda decide.
