If you are awarded a certain class of car and none on the list provided by them are suitable- If you are awaded a group “C” medium SUV –
(a) you are allowed to choose another car from the “same group” that’s not neccessarily on the list of cars provided.
(b) The AP must not be more than your grant award +50%, it can also be less than award.
If you were awarded a grant of £1000 you can if you have the funds top the award up by a maximum 50% or £500. (if you have not been told about this ask your grants manager if it something you are interested in)
