Many thanks Glos guy for that reply that has put my mind at rest so if I see nothing January 1st I can phone motability then and extend by 2 years ? Then my current car will be serviced and mot late feb ?
Yes Mike, you can. Unless your current car has done very high mileage, a simple phone call will allow you to extend the lease. They will ask if you want to extend for one year or two. Always say two. You will then effectively have between now and March 2026 to make your decision on whether to go EV and which car to order. You can order at any time within that period, you don’t have to wait 2 years, so the pressure is completely off.
