Hi @Renegood to hear from you 🙂

I dont know Luton airport or indeed its parking area’s but, presumeably with it being an airport there would be sprinkler systems in those area’s as well as other fire safety equipment. The last I heard was “We don’t believe it was an electric vehicle,” Andrew Hopkinson, chief fire officer for Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service, said. “It’s believed to be diesel-powered, at this stage all subject to verification. And then that fire has quickly and rapidly spread.” Lets say it was a diesel car that started it, both you and I know diesel isn’t the easiest fuel to catch fire and would of potentially being ignited and a slow smouldering combustion would be likely in the first instance, even if the fire started from the 12v battery both smoke and moments later the likely hood of flames. So my point is, was there any such sprinkler system, fully working fire alarm, if so when were they last tested and more importabtly when was the sprinkler heads testedfor full capactity, as if pressent such a system would have dosed the initiall fire from a lead acid battery.
