    Just the very nature of the difference of opinion expressed here shows how poor the service is. Obviously, we’ve had a terrible experience, others not.

    The service should be the same for everyone and cater for a diverse range of competences. There was NO option to have someone do the survey for me. I’d probably not have used it anyway thinking it would be easy. NOT SO!!

    I stand by my assertion the process is seriously flawed and a symptom of bypassing and profiting from not having their own surveyors and delegating that to the users.

    My installation is finally booked for 19 October. Has I been paying for it I could have had it done last Thursday. The installer would have done the survey and installation on the same day.

    Saving £1000 should be a joyous experience but mine has not!
