Mrs Joe uses Jeff Gosling push pull hand controls. We had a courtesy car a few years back and Motability sent someone out to fit it with temporary hand controls, she hated them and didn’t use the car. I’d be inclined to stick with what you know, unless you need to switch to electronic controls for strength reasons.
As Kezo said, see if you can get a trial of both.
