That’s interesting. Marshalls Grimsby sent me a factory print out of my order a week later. Shows a factory build slot of week 10. Also confirmed the £500 contribution from them last week. I knew that the dealerships have monthly buld slots allocation, pleased that I was ok when ordering in late August.
Sounds good. A dealer with nothing to hide will keep you updated with the status code of your order. They can move backwards and forwards until the build is locked in (a week or so before it’s built), but the fact that the dealer has shown you this means at least you can’t relax knowing that your car has actually been ordered and isn’t still waiting to be placed!
