I have ACC and lane assist on my current Ateca, after a couple of weeks I switched off the lane assist as it was terrible!. The ACC is pretty good but has a horrible habit of slamming on the brakes when I’m nowhere near the car in front when they slow down at roundabouts or if someone in front of me turns off into a side road. Just far too sensitive.
Other problem with these systems is when it snows, a small amount of snow of the front of the car and I get red warnings popping up as various systems fail (ACC, Emergency braking etc.).
Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
