I’m with Octopus, have ordered my 1st ev. Octopus told me my smart meter doesn’t require changing as it can take usage readings every 5 mins. If yours can you shouldn’t have to change it.
This doesn’t apply to you, but am on a fixed rate tariff but can change onto the Intelligent one without the £75 penalty, you have to ask though, it is at their discretion.
