Wonder when the 2024 updates will be put into production, starting to read about them in the motoring press. https://www.carwow.co.uk/bmw/i4/news/7191/new-bmw-i4-facelift
I suspect the fact that a facelift is due is the reason why the i4 is on Motability. It may drop off the scheme when the facelift comes out. BTW, I’ve just noticed that you currently have an X1 (as we do). Can I ask how you find getting in and out of the i4 compared to the X1 (seat height wise)? My wife has to transfer from a wheelchair and this is going to be the most critical thing for us. I had assumed that the i4 would be too low, but I followed one on the Motorway the other day and when it was alongside a 3 Series saloon it looked higher, even though it’s a coupe style. Somebody mentioned EVs being a bit higher due to the batteries being underneath, which I hadn’t considered.
Both my wife and I liked the look of the i4, but thought getting in and out would be problematic. Have arthritis in both hips but floor to sill was easier to overcome than the x1. Getting out of it was managable as well. You must try for yourself, it is a really nice car if suitable.
