Good news! Motability have removed the (quite peculiar) rule that the personalised number plate must ‘relate’ to the customer, from now on as long as the plate meets the DVLA rules, it is good to go on your car.
Have they announced this as something new? They adropped this requirement years ago!
A couple of weeks ago I contacted them about authorising my new private plate and they did ask if it was my name,nso it was in effect then.
