I don’t think thats the case. I rang about this earlier in the year when I placed an order for my new lease and I was told at the time that the plate I requested wouldn’t be accommodated as it wasn’t my initials / name.. I was told it could be things like a name, favourite football team etc. Even when I told them it related to a sport I follow they denied it still. So if this change is true then its a very welcome change!
