I’ll have to run the cable over the public footpath that runs past the front of my house.  There’s no foot traffic apart from postman Pat as we’re in a cul-de-sac and the path doesn’t lead anywhere.

So, I’m currently in talks with my council as they’re trialling the kerbocharge system.  This is a buried cable duct which is fitted into the pavement with a covered top you push the cable down into the trunking.  So no tripping hazard and highways Agency approved for that type of use.

Council wanted £600 (duct is about £36!) but have came down to £300 so worth doing considering how much I’ll save on petrol over the next 3-5 years.

Only think I’m having trouble with is getting the charger fitted, my housing association still haven’t replied and after 3 weeks my MP has finally said he’s contacted them and waiting for a reply.

Ohme said they couldn’t fit a charger as it would run over a public area, even though Kerbocharge are in partnership with them for this scheme!!, idiots!.

Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
