    @Kezo Yes, the 80 and 85 use the CATL battery and the 80x and 85x use the LG Chem battery with 175kWh peak charging ability.

     

    175kW charging rate seems good but when prices aren’t that far away from the Ioniq 5 and it’s 800v Architecture meaning 350kw charging, it seems a little inadequate.  That said, the charging curve will be the true definition of which is better on the run.  For example, the I5 does peak very high but has crashed by 85% charge.  The Enyaq does drop but is still at 50kw charging at 85%.   Given they’re both very similar sized batteries, it’s the drop and the rate of that drop that will show who can go first.  Enyaq Gorm has a video of him charging his 60 att he same time as a mate charging the Ioniq 5.  Extraordinarily, they get to a similar point at a similar time and the 80 charges quicker.
