Current temp in our flat 29.5 degrees.
Current temp outside 17 degrees (according to Alexa)
The good news is that after nearly an hour in my car with the aircon on full blast i feel so much better!
More good news is that the temperature inside and outside has dropped by a degree or two.
And there’s even more good news because according to Alexa todays weather is going to be significantly cooler. “Mostly cloudy with a high of 24 degrees and a low of 16 degrees.”
Hopefully this means that the current hot spell has finally run its course and normal life can resume.
Mrs Gee remains fast asleep so i’m gonna treat myself to a strawberry cornetto from the freezer (my diabetes nurse won’t be happy) and then settle down to watch the greatest live music concert of all-time The Band’s ‘Last Waltz’
