Location: Surrey
Same as every other night recently way too hot to sleep.
Current temp in our flat 33.7 degrees and according to Alexa outside temp 18 degrees.
Mrs Gee has been happily fast asleep for over two hours.
Yesterday daytime (Sunday) was also horrendous with indoor temperature hovering around 30 degrees from mid morning onwards.
Cold showers help albeit temporarily – which is why i took 5 yesterday.
Can’t really justify putting on my portable aircon unit because its just so expensive to run.
Worryingly i experienced a couple of minor stumbles yesterday due entirely to the excessive heat but Mrs Gee was able to catch me both times.
Time now 01:28am and i fancy a cup of my fav coffee the wonderful Kenco 3 in 1.
Then i’ll perhaps go for my umpteenth cold shower then try again to sleep.
If sleep remains impossible all is not lost because i’ll still have my option of last resort which is to sit in my again and enjoy the aircon.
