Hi @Roger Yes i have a dedicated disabled parking bay at home (large communal car park) Local authority have confirmed that they have zero plans to install EV charging at the location. I’m fortunate in as much as most folks recognise disabled bays where i live. The only exceptions being ASDA and TESCO home delivery drivers who regularly park in our disabled bays, and unbelievably the Warden of our facility who also seems to think its ok for her to park in a disabled bay if its raining (our disabled bays are situated next to the main entrance!)
If there are any DB boards or switch gear on the inner building wall feeding your property and adjacant to your parking space I see no reason why the council won’t agree for one to be fitted on the external wall and depending whether your vehicle is adjacant to a footpath a system called Kerbo can’t be used, which has been approved by Durham highwas dept!
The prolem is what tour local authority agree’s or not due to budget constraints, may wholy differ from what the government wants and there is your biggest problem currently 🙂
