There is not a lot Motability can do if you cannot charge at home.
Normally supply and demand fixes assets like cars. If the customer demands a certain vehicle, the manfucturers make the ones the customer wants. It is demand led.
Not with EV’s and ICE’s.
Currently it does not matter what the customer wants, it is now Supply led, adn NOT demand.
Car manufacturing takes time to change, and the change is entirely EV manufacturing. They are currently increasing EV manufacturing and dropping ICE vehicles altogether.
The market for vehicles is now supply led. Not demand.
There will be a few percent of vehicles that are ICE, for developing countries that do not have the infrastructure to support EV’s.
There was a post somewhere that said EV’s are plentiful as there is less demand for them in the UK. It doesnt matter,it is NOT demand led. The manufacturers will make them and the customer has no choice.
Regarding not have the capability to charge your EV. Ask Kezo, he suggested dropping an extension lead from a 12 storey flat. His words. Unbelievable!
