I regularly did a 85 mile round trip to work in my Kia Soul 64kw. Range loss on a hot day putting aircon on and not leaving the fan at full blast (but everything nice and cool at 20 deg) resulted in a 2-3 mile loss on the very accurate Kia GOM. Aircon does not seem to affect the overall range much at all. I never switch it off and would get 3 days commute easily in summer at 65. Or 2 of your 120 mile trips.
Loss of mileage in winter was around 8-10 miles per journey from a fully cold car at around 0 degrees due to the heater draw to get the car up to temp. Keeping it warm took a lot less.
The car has a heat pump as standard, so who knows what that winter draw would be without it.
In life, it's not who you know that's important, it's how your wife found out.
